French Artist Abraham Poincheval Living Inside a Rock for Art

Abraham Poincheval

Abraham Poincheval is attempting to survive inside a 12-ton boulder inside a Paris art museum for a week.  After day 3 in the rock in the Paris’s Palais de Tokyo art museum, he has described the experience as like “tripping”, insisting he would stick it out for a week.  He has carved out enough room for him to sit up in, with a niche to hold supplies of water, soup and dried meat.  He has no concept of time, no light and is completely isolated from the outside world. Nothing like pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, or in Abraham’s case, you push yourself into your uncomfortable zones.
