Banksy leaves mural on Bristol school

The street artist Banksy spray-painted a primary school playground wall after the pupils voted to rename one of their school buildings after him.  This was Banksy’s way of thanking them.  He also left a note, where he stated, “remember it’s always easier to get forgiveness than permission.”

The anonymous artist’s career began in Bristol, where this particular primary school is, and has made quite an impact on the children.  Hopefully, this will inspire those young children to embrace their artistic ideas and go with it.  The England-based graffiti artist, is also a political activist, film director, and painter and he has managed to stay anonymous for over 20 years.

Here’s a sample of some of Banksy’s work…

Thank you for sharing your art with us, Banksy.
